The NIMO laptop features a fingerprint scanner located on the top left corner of the touch-pad. To set up fingerprint recognition, follow these steps:
- Power on your NIMO laptop.
- Complete the initial setup process. This may involve selecting your language, creating a user account, and connecting to a Wi-Fi network.
- Access the Windows Settings menu. Click on the Start button in the lower-left corner of the screen, and then select the gear icon to open the Settings menu.
- Navigate to the "Accounts" section. In the Settings menu, locate and click on the "Accounts" icon.
- Select "Sign-in options" from the left-hand pane. This will display the options for signing in to your NIMO laptop, including fingerprint recognition.
- Click on the "Add a fingerprint" button. This will initiate the fingerprint setup process.
- Follow the on-screen instructions. You will be prompted to repeatedly touch the fingerprint scanner with your finger. The scanner will capture an image of your fingerprint and store it securely on your computer.
- Set up a PIN (optional). You may be prompted to set up a PIN as a backup method for signing in to your computer. This is not required, but it is recommended in case the fingerprint scanner does not recognize your fingerprint.
