What if my fingerprint is not recognized?

If your fingerprint is not recognized, there are a few things you can try:

Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Moisture or dirt on your finger can interfere with the fingerprint scanner's ability to accurately capture your fingerprint.
Make sure you are touching the fingerprint scanner correctly. Place your finger flat on the scanner and make sure it is fully covering the sensor.
Try using a different finger. If you have registered multiple fingerprints, you can try using a different finger to sign in.
If you have set up a PIN, you can use it to sign in instead. This will allow you to access your computer even if the fingerprint scanner is not recognizing your fingerprint.
