If your fingerprint is not recognized, there are a few things you can try:
- Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Moisture or dirt on your finger can interfere with the fingerprint scanner's ability to accurately capture your fingerprint.
- Make sure you are touching the fingerprint scanner correctly. Place your finger flat on the scanner and make sure it is fully covering the sensor.
- Try using a different finger. If you have registered multiple fingerprints, you can try using a different finger to sign in.
- If you have set up a PIN, you can use it to sign in instead. This will allow you to access your computer even if the fingerprint scanner is not recognizing your fingerprint.
